Detica admits approach

LONDON (ShareCast) - Business and technology consultant Detica said it has received a preliminary approach that could lead to an offer.

"In response to recent press speculation, the board of Detica confirms that it has received a preliminary approach which may or may not lead to an offer being made for the company," it said.

The group added that there can be no certainty that an offer will be made.
